Tests connection of damper valve to the Tesla Air Suspension (TAS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
TEST-SELF_TAS_X_DAMPER-VALVE-CONNECTION
Tests connection of damper valve to the Tesla Air Suspension (TAS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
TEST-SELF_TAS_X_DAMPER-VALVE-CONNECTION
Performs an image capture while the Autopilot Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is in Calibration Mode. The estimated time to complete is two minutes.
PROC_DAS_X_CAPTURE-IMAGE
Clears the Driver's Assistance System (DAS) calibration data for select camera pairs or all cameras.
PROC_DAS_X_CLEAR-CALIBRATION
Clears the lens hood occlusion alert from the camera health system.
PROC_DAS_X_CLEAR-LENS-HOOD-ALERT
Starts Calibration Mode on the Autopilot Electronic Control Unit (ECU). This routine is required so other routines can be executed.
PROC_DAS_X_ENTER-CALIBRATION-MODE
Updates firmware on selected camera.
PROC_DAS_X_UPDATE-CAMERA
The Ethernet pings Ape-A, Ape-B, or both. After a reply is received, five pings are sent and the full ping output is returned. Make sure to turn on the accessory drive rail. The estimated time to complete is one second per ping line output.
PING_DAS_X_ETHERNET-PING-DAS-ECUS
Checks if the Driver's Assistance System (DAS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is connected and powered. Make sure to turn on the accessory drive rail and keep the DAS ECU awake to run the self test successfully.
PING-TP_DAS
Resets EEPROM for DAS HW1 if the alert DAS_w020_ECU_checkstopError is present. After running, perform a Firmware CAN redeploy from Garage and a camera calibration - "DAS Service Point Calibration (SPC)" or "DAS Single Pole Target Auto Calibration (SPTAC)"
PROC_DAS_X_EEPROM-RESET
Exit calibration mode on the Autopilot Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
PROC_DAS_X_EXIT-CALIBRATION-MODE
Runs diagnostics on ASM330 IMU sensor's accelerometer and gyroscope.
PROC_DAS_X_IMU-CHECK
Resets the Driver's Assistance System (DAS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) using the Controller Area Network (CAN) bus.
TEST-RESET_DAS
The procedure sends a command to the Driver Assistance System (DAS) Service Application Programming Interface (API) and wakes DAS electronic control unit (ECU) if needed.
PROC_ICE_X_DAS-SERVICE-API
Performs a Service Point Calibration on the front camera (HW1). Also called "Drive Cycle Calibration" or "SPC". Start the routine while parked. Camera will calibrate while vehicle is driving at least 30mph (50km) and should finish in about 5 minutes.
PROC_DAS_X_SERVICE-POINT-CALIBRATION
Perform single pole target auto calibration (SPTAC) to the DAS ECU (AP HW1 only) to calibrate the camera, and save the calibration results. Before beginning the routine place the pole in Location 1 - centered in front of the front fascia for Model S, 10cm away from the front fascia for Model X. When prompted, move the pole to Location 2 - three feet from location 1.
PROC_DAS_X_SPTAC
Tests communication of the front left and right Instrument Panel RGB lights (RGBIP) with Left Vehicle Controller (VCLEFT) over the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) bus.
TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_RGBIP
Lists infotainment datavalues. Apply filters in regular expression syntax to narrow the returned list.
TEST-BASH_ICE_X_LIST-DATAVALUES
This task monitors the DCDC converter's controller area network (CAN) signals during boot-up to ensure proper functionality.
PING-CAN_DCDC
This routine performs the VIN Learn, and side configuration learn for Pektron door module. This is necessary to ensure the driver door controller (DDM) recognizes the correct vehicle configuration. Test will always report as passed to MES due to unreliability of the routine. Routine is necessary after any configuration changes that affect the DDM module.
PROC_DDM_DRV_PEKTRON-VIN-LEARN
Tests communication with the Decoupled Pedal Brake (DPB) Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Communication is established via Unified Diagnostics Services (UDS) over the Controller Area Network (CAN).
PING-TP_DPB
User initiated check for the interior mechanical door release. The mechanical release on the front door is a cable that is actuated when the interior door handle is pulled back fully. This test only applies to Model X vehicles equipped with LIN controlled cinching latches.
TEST_BCFDM_FRONT-DRV_DOOR-RELEASED
Tests communication with the Drive Inverter (DI) Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Communication is established via Unified Diagnostics Services (UDS) over the Controller Area Network (CAN).
PING-TP_DI
Performs a Drive Inverter Front (DIF) restore from the latest application data backup saved onto the car computer. This should only be run after the restore bootloader data routine. Requirements: - New compatible drive inverter is installed. - DIF Bootloader Data Restore routine passed successfully. - DIF software is updated.
PROC_DIF_X_ECU-REPLACEMENT-RESTORE-APP
Descriptions and input definitions come from Tesla’s 2026 vehicle firmware. This catalog includes tasks covered by Tesware’s current service access. Each task page lists the vehicle and firmware versions in which it was found. The connected vehicle confirms whether a task can run.
