The procedure reads the drive inverter rotation in the Right Drive Inverter (DIR) Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
PROC_DIR_X_READ-DI-ROTATIONS
Reads the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) which match the inputted DTC mask for the chosen Electronic Control Unit. From right to left: bit 0: Test Failed bit 1: Test Failed This Operation Cycle bit 2: Pending DTC bit 3: Confirmed DTC bit 4: Test Not Completed Since Last Clear bit 5: Unused bit 6: Test Not Completed This Operation Cycle bit 7: Unused
PROC_X_READ-DTCS
Read specified file from the infotainment filesystem.
TEST-BASH_ICE_X_READ-FILE
Reads the gateway configuration based on the input list of configuration IDs.
PROC_ICE_X_READ-GW-CONFIGS
The procedure reads a file from the gateway. This may be useful to fetch the UDS Debug log in the event that it fails to upload for some reason.
PROC_ICE_X_READ-GW-FILE
Reads all supported J1979-3 parameter identifiers (PIDs) from the vehicle for CARB regulated data reporting.
PROC_X_READ-PIDS
Read the recent and lifetime values for supported vehicle operation tracking data.
PROC_X_READ-VEHICLE-TRACKING-DATA
This routine reads the most recent High Voltage Controller (HVC) data backup from the car computer. If outdated or incorrect, this routine can also delete the saved backup file.
PROC_HVC_X_BACKUP-READ
This routine provides the ability to read or write the HV battery calibration birthday from/to the High Voltage Controller (HVC).
PROC_HVC_X_READ-WRITE-PACK-BIRTHDAY
This routine provides the ability to read or write the HV battery serial number from/to the High Voltage Controller (HVC).
PROC_HVC_X_READ-WRITE-PACK-SERIAL-NUMBER
This routine provides the ability to read or write the shunt data from/to the High Voltage Controller (HVC).
PROC_HVP_X_WRITE-SHUNT-BAR-RES
Read vital RCM data including checksums, part and serial numbers, vin, and arm status.
TEST_RCM_X_READ-DATA
The procedure returns ride height calibration offset values for Tesla Air Suspension (TAS).
PROC_TAS_X_READ-RIDE-HEIGHT-CALIBRATION
Waits for iBooster to reach idle position, and reports the value of the RPS sensor
PROC_IBST_X_READ-RPS-AT-IDLE
Tests for power, connection, and communication of the rear defrost controlled by the Right Vehicle Controller (VCRIGHT).
TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_REAR_DEFROST
Tests rear display for power and connection
PING-BASH_DISPLAY_REAR
Tests the auto-addressing and communication of rear dome lights controlled by the Left Vehicle Controller (VCLEFT) Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Communication is established via the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) bus.
TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_REAR-DOME-LIGHTS
Calibrates the resolver analog input error, which is required after an inverter swap. Before running this routine, confirm the steering wheel is straight and the drive rail is on. If starting the routine on a lift, follow these steps to complete: 1. With the vehicle on the lift, shift into Drive within 10 seconds of starting the routine, and firmly press the accelerator pedal. 2. Keep the accelerator pedal pressed until the motor starts slowing down on its own. Do not press the brake pedal during coast down. Brake softly to cancel the routine. 3. After the speedometer reaches 0, press the brake and shift into Park. If starting the routine on the ground, follow these steps to complete: 1. The routine requires a 300ft/90m straight area ahead of the vehicle. Run on clean, dry pavement. Do not run on slippery or wet surfaces. The vehicle will travel up to 20mph. 2. Confirm "Learn on ground" is checked and start the routine. 3. Check surroundings and ensure it is safe to accelerate. Shift into Drive within 10 seconds of starting routine and firmly press the accelerator pedal. 4. Keep the accelerator pedal pressed until the vehicle starts slowing down on its own. Do not press the brake pedal. Do not press brakes during coast down until after the audible alert indicates that braking is allowed. Braking before the alert cancels the routine. 5. An audible alert will indicate the routine is complete and braking is allowed. Press the brake to bring the vehicle to a stop. After the speedometer reaches 0, press the brake and shift into Park.
PROC_DIR_X_RESOLVER-ERROR-LEARN
The procedure configures usage ID and writes the drive type of the rear drive unit in the Rear Pedal Monitor (PMR) Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
PROC_PMR_X_WRITE-DRIVE-TYPE
Calibrates the rear driver door handle by actuating the fork to its maximum and minimum positions. If needed, the routine configures the door handle controller to learn its location.
PROC_DHRD_REAR-DRV_DOOR-HANDLE-CALIBRATION
Tests the connectivity of the right rear exterior lights and all trunk lights.
TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_REAR_LIGHTS-V2
Tests the connectivity of the right rear exterior lights and all trunk lights. Applies to Gen 1 controller.
TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_REAR_LIGHTS
Tests the connectivity of the right rear exterior lights and all trunk lights. Applies to global types of rear exterior lights.
TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_REAR_LIGHTS-V2
Perform a self test of the rear left seat backrest heating element via the left vehicle controller (VCLEFT).
TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_REAR-L_SEAT-HEAT-BACKREST-HYDROXIDE
Descriptions and input definitions come from Tesla’s 2026 vehicle firmware. This catalog includes tasks covered by Tesware’s current service access. Each task page lists the vehicle and firmware versions in which it was found. The connected vehicle confirms whether a task can run.
