Left Side Repeater Connectivity Check
TEST-SELF_VCFRONT2_L_SIDE-REPEATER
Left Side Repeater Connectivity Check
TEST-SELF_VCFRONT_L_SIDE-REPEATER
Check that the left signal light is working correctly.
TEST_VCFRONT_L_SIGNAL-LIGHT
Tests electrical connection of the third row seat adjustable recline switchpack, position sensor, motor, encoder, heatpad and thermistor.
TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_X_3R-SEAT-6-SEATER
Moves the third row seat recliner/backrest to the rearward endstop to perform position calibration, then moves the backrest to the nominal use position.
PROC_VCLEFT_X_3R-SEAT-RECLINE-CALIBRATION
Attempts to moves the second row seat recliner/backrest rearward, fold the seat, then unfold the seat to the nominal position.
PROC_VCLEFT_X_3R-SEAT-RECLINE-FUNCTIONAL-TEST
Tests communication with the left vehicle controller (VCLEFT) Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Communication is established via Unified Diagnostics Services (UDS) over the Controller Area Network (CAN).
PING-TP_VCLEFT
Runs a ping test on all 7 LF antennas. The low frequency (LF) antennas are used on the Model S to detect the position\nof the key fob in and around the vehicle. This test checks to make sure the\nspecified antenna is connected and responsive. This includes: - Center Console - Rear Seat - Rear Bumper - Dead Key Fob - Driver's Side End Cap - Passenger's Side End Cap - Frunk The routine will pass if all antennas return success. The failed output will include any antennas which failed to ping.
TEST_SEC_X_ANTEN-LF-DIAGNOSIS
Calibrates the Left Front (LF) door handle by actuating the fork to its maximum and minimum positions. When necessary, this routine also configures the door handle controller to learn its location.
PROC_VCLEFT_FRONT-L_CALIBRATE-DOOR-HANDLE
Checks the connection between VCLEFT and the different endpoints in the front left door.
TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_FRONT-L_DOOR
Tests communication with the LFT Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Communication is established via Unified Diagnostics Services (UDS) over the Controller Area Network (CAN).
PING-TP_LFT
This routine performs the VIN Learn, and side configuration learn for Pektron door module. This is necessary to ensure the liftgate controller (LFT) recognizes the correct vehicle configuration. Test will always report as passed to MES due to unreliability of the routine. Routine is necessary after any configuration changes that affect the LFT module.
PROC_LFT_TRNK_PEKTRON-VIN-LEARN
Tests the connectivity of the rear license plate lights.
TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_REAR_LICENSE_PLATE_LIGHTS
Tests the left side anti-pinch functionality on the lift gate by monitoring the BCREAR_plgLeftAndMidPinchStatus CAN signal.
PROC_BCREAR_L_LFT-ANTI-PINCH-LEFT
Tests the right side anti-pinch functionality on the lift gate by monitoring the BCREAR_plgRightPinchStatus CAN signal.
PROC_BCREAR_R_LFT-ANTI-PINCH-RIGHT
This test will run a routine on the BCREAR that will report whether the Power Liftgate (PLG) anti-pinch strips are disconnected. This test can only detect over all disconnection and will not be able to check if sections of the pinch strip are faulty.
TEST_BCREAR_REAR_LFT-ANTI-PINCH-CONNECTION-TEST
If liftgate is open when test is requested, liftgate will actuate to close before starting test sequence
TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_X_LIFTGATE-ENSURES-CLOSED-AT-BEGINNING
Tests the openning and closing of liftgate controlled by the Left Vehicle Controller (VCLEFT).
TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_X_LIFTGATE
Tests for power, connection, and communication of the liftgate strut controlled by the Left Vehicle Controller (VCLEFT).
TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_X_LIFTGATE-STRUT
The test lists all log files in the crashlogs directory. These crashlogs are created when a UI process hits an unrecoverable error or freezes. The timestamp of the crash is in the filename, making this Task useful for quickly checking if there was a crash around a given time. Note that these timestamps are always PDT.
TEST-BASH_ICE_X_LIST-CRASHLOGS
List all log files in the drivenotes directory
TEST-BASH_ICE_X_LIST-DRIVENOTES
List Gateway directory contents - ls gw
TEST-BASH_CID_X_LS-GW
The test lists all log files in the paniclogs directory. Kernel panic occur when the computer (BMP) encounters a memory or driver error, which may result in a center display reboot. The timestamp of the kernel panic is in the filename, making this Task useful for quickly checking a kernel panic occurred around a given time. Note that these timestamps are always PDT.
TEST-BASH_ICE_X_LIST-PANICLOGS
The test lists TAI64 logs from oldest to newest, up to the number specified by the numFiles input. This may be useful for determining which log files are the most recent. This task does not provide details such as last-modified date. For that info, use the 'List Directory Contents' task. Log files other than 'current' are TAI64-encoded and have names like @400000005c420bfd0f4ec12c.s
TEST-BASH_ICE_X_LIST-SYSLOGS
Descriptions and input definitions come from Tesla’s 2026 vehicle firmware. This catalog includes tasks covered by Tesware’s current service access. Each task page lists the vehicle and firmware versions in which it was found. The connected vehicle confirms whether a task can run.
Cybertruck is not included in this 2026 reference.
