Alert description

High Universal Mobile Connector (UMC) wall plug (smart adapter) temperature detected, causing UMC output current to the vehicle to be reduced by half.

Potential impact

Universal Mobile Connector (UMC) will reduce its output current to the vehicle by half until the wall plug (smart adapter) cools sufficiently to resume charging at previous current and a charge cable cycle has been performed (charge cable disconnected then reconnected to the vehicle).

Set condition

Universal Mobile Connector (UMC) wall plug (smart adapter) temperature has risen above 65 C or specific smart adapter threshold if applicable.

Clear condition

Universal Mobile Connector (UMC) wall plug (smart adapter) temperature falls below 63 C or specific smart adapter threshold if applicable, and a charge cable cycle is performed (charge cable disconnected then reconnected to the vehicle).
