Alert description

One or more of the messages the Tesla Adaptive Suspension (TAS) module receives periodically from the User Interface (UI) are not being received by the ECU.

Potential impact

Adaptive suspension functionality may be reduced.

Set condition

One or more of the expected messages from UI is not received. Messages may be missing, are not received at the expected rate, or have an invalid checksum / counter.

Clear condition

TAS starts receiving the expected messages from UI.

With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of TAS_a099.

TAS_a102 — DI MIA TAS_a102_DI_MIA One or more of the messages the Tesla Adaptive Suspension (TAS) module receives periodically from Drive Inverter (DI) are not being received by the ECU.
TAS_a100 — RCM MIA TAS_a100_RCM_MIA One or more of the messages the Tesla Adaptive Suspension (TAS) module receives periodically from the Restraint Control Module (RCM) are not being received by the ECU.
TAS_a101 — ESP MIA TAS_a101_ESP_MIA One or more of the messages the Tesla Adaptive Suspension (TAS) module receives periodically from Electronic Stability Program (ESP) are not being received by the ECU.
TAS_a103 — GTW MIA TAS_a103_GTW_MIA One or more of the messages the Tesla Adaptive Suspension (TAS) module receives periodically from the Vehicle Gateway (GTW) are not being received by the ECU.
TAS_a193 — EPAS3P MIA TAS_a193_EPAS3P_MIA One or more of the messages the Tesla Adaptive Suspension (TAS) module receives periodically from the Electric Power Assisted Steering Gen 3 Primary (EPAS3P) module is not received, indicating the EPAS3P module may be unavailable (MIA).
