Alert description

Invalid RCU input rod stroke qualifier (QF) is received.

Potential impact

There may be an issue with the transmitting Electronic Control Unit (ECU).

Set condition

The IDB recieves the RCU_inputRodPositionQF CAN signals as POSITION_FAULTED for longer than 100 milliseconds, or the RCU_status CAN message had a checksum, counter, or message length error.

Clear condition

Clears when the Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) receives the RCU_inputRodPositionQF Controller Area Network (CAN) signal as valid for longer than 100 milliseconds.

Check other alerts

With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of IDB_a132.
