Alert description
Brake fluid level signal measured by the Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) is invalid.
Potential impact
Brake Traction Control (BTC), Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), Controlled Deceleration via Parking brake (CDP), Brake Disc Wipe (BDW), and External Brake Request (EBR) may be unavailable. The IDB may be unable to monitor brake fluid level. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
Set condition
The brake fluid level sensor (IDB connector pins 20, 38) is detected to be disconnected for more than five seconds.
Clear condition
Clears when the IDB receives a normal brake fluid level signal for more than five seconds.

With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of IDB_a127.
