Alert description
RCM collision message RCM_collision checksum is incorrect.
Potential impact
Secondary Collision Mitigation (SCM) may be unavailable. There may be an issue with the transmitting Electronic Control Unit (ECU) or CAN bus. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
Set condition
RCM_collision is received with incorrect CRC for longer than 100 milliseconds.
Clear condition
Clears when RCM_collision Controller Area Network (CAN) message is received with correct Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) for 100 milliseconds.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of IDB_a100.
