IDB_a053 — DI torque Path Faulted
Full alert identifier: IDB_a053_DItorquePathFaulted
Alert description
The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) is unable to generate system-level brake torque in response to the DI_brakeTorqueCommand CAN signal.
Potential impact
The IDB may not respond to brake torque requested in DI_brakeTorqueCommand.
Set condition
The IDB has determined the brake torque request DI_brakeTorqueCommand to be invalid or has an internal issue that prevents it from generating brake torque in response to DI_brakeTorqueCommand. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (for example, MicroController Unit [MCU], ASIC, solenoid valve, pump, wheel speed sensor, hydraulics) or signal alerts (Intertial Measurement Unit [IMU] measurement, External Brake Request [EBR] interface signals).
Clear condition
Clears when the IDB detects that any conditions precluding legacy torque path function are no longer present while the vehicle is parked.
