Alert description
The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) is unable to actuate VDC or Brake Traction Control (BTC) requests.
Potential impact
The IDB may not respond to DI commands to build brake torque to control vehicle dynamics or wheel spin. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
Set condition
The IDB detects a condition that precludes VDC function. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (for example, MicroController Unit [MCU], ASIC, solenoid valve, pump, wheel speed sensor, hydraulics) or signal alerts (VDC interface signals).
Clear condition
Clears when the Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) detects that any conditions precluding VDC function are no longer present while the vehicle is parked.

With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of IDB_a052.
