Alert description
The vehicle gateway (GTW) has not received an expected state message from the Dual Power Pump 1 (DPP1) electronic control unit (ECU) via the controller area network (CAN) within the required time period, indicating the DPP1 ECU may be unavailable and power steering may be limited or unavailable.
Potential impact
Power steering and Autopilot features depending on DPP1, including Autosteer, may be limited or unavailable.
Set condition
The GTW does not receive the state CAN message from DPP1 ECU at the expected frequency while the vehicle is in Drive.
Clear condition
The GTW receives the state CAN message from DPP1 ECU as expected. Clears automatically when the vehicle exits Drive, and may be resolved completely (does not set again) when starting the next drive cycle.

With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of GTW_w266.
