Alert description

One or more of the messages the Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) receives periodically from the audio digital signal processor (ADSP) ECU is not received, indicating the ADSP ECU may be unavailable (MIA).

Potential impact

The Autopilot ECU will use the emergency speaker to play sounds like the Autopilot deactivation chime, Take Over Immediately (TOI) chime, and so on.

Set condition

One or more of the expected messages from the ADSP ECU is not received.

Clear condition

The Autopilot ECU starts receiving expected messages from the ADSP ECU.
