One or more of the messages the Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) receives periodically from the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) ECU is not received, indicating the ESP ECU may be unavailable (MIA).
Potential impact
Autopilot features are unavailable, GPS performance may be degraded due to lack of wheel tick data from ESP.
Set condition
One or more of the expected messages from the ESP ECU is not received.
Clear condition
The Autopilot ECU starts receiving expected messages from the ESP ECU.
