Alert description
Correct SIM card is not installed on corresponding 4G or 5G Telematics Control Unit (TCU). 5G SIM card should be installed on 5G TCU only, and vice versa.
Potential impact
Unavailable 5G functionality on 5G vehicles with 4G SIM card installed. High subscription cost for 5G SIM card on a 4G vehicle.
Set condition
The 5G TCU detects a 4G SIM card, or 4G TCU and Iris modems detect a 5G SIM card.
Clear condition
The 5G TCU detects a 5G SIM card, or 4G TCU and Iris modems detect a 4G SIM card.
Check other alerts
