Alert description
Wheel speeds message was not received or message length is incorrect.
Potential impact
There may be an issue with the transmitting Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
Set condition
The RCU did not receive the ESP_wheelSpeeds CAN message from the IDB for longer than 100 milliseconds, or ESP_wheelSpeeds is received with incorrect data length for longer than 100 milliseconds.
Clear condition
Clears when the Redundant Control Unit (RCU) receives the ESP_wheelSpeeds Controller Area Network (CAN) message from the Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) with correct data length for 100 milliseconds.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of RCU_a047.
