Alert description
The IDB CHASSIS CAN bus is off.
Potential impact
IDB diagnostics may not be available, and the IDB may not be able to communicate over CHASSIS bus.
Set condition
No CAN traffic is received via the CHASSIS CAN bus (IDB connector pins 9, 10).
Clear condition
Clears when 10 or more valid CAN frames are received via the CHASSIS CAN bus. If the issue persists, a CAN line issue requiring repair is possible.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of IDB_a037.
