An unexpected vehicle gateway (GTW) reset occurred due to a reason that is not listed or defined in the gateway software, which may occur after a loss of Low Voltage (LV) power.

Features that rely on gateway functionality may be unavailable or may not perform as designed. The gateway may also continue to reset unexpectedly.
Set condition
The gateway detects it reset unexpectedly due to a reason that is not defined in the gateway software. Alert log signal data should provide more information on the specific condition(s) detected.
Clear condition
Gateway reboots, or the vehicle completes a sleep cycle.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of GTW_w409.
