Alert description
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a GDU failure. This diagnostic checks if low or high-side VDS references are disconnected.
Potential impact
EPAS full loss of assist.
Set condition
Low or high-side VDS references are disconnected. EPAS ECU GDU device monitor detected failure (loss of VDS reference).
Clear condition
EPAS HW failure. EPAS power cycle N times and if persists, the gear needs to be changed.
