This alert is reported by the STMDriver_TC3x (STMD) component when the System timer (STM) plausibility check fails due to an intolerable time difference between the DMA and STM timestamps.

Potential impact

EPAS full loss of assist.

Set condition

EPAS microcontroller detected out of sync timers (system timer vs DMA) at startup.

Clear condition

Perform EPAS ECU power cycle.
