Alert description
The Decoupled Power Brake (DPB) ECU reports a condition affecting its bandgap.
Potential impact
System will be running in fully degraded state. Braking may require increased effort. Hydraulic Boost Compensation will be triggered when driver pressed brake pedal.
Set condition
The bandgap voltage measured by the Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) is not within specification. This can be due to an issue affecting the ADC.
Clear condition
No internal issue is detected after changing operation cycle. If the condition persists, the DPB module may require replacement.

With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of DPB_a089.
