Alert description

The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the Secondary Electric Power Steering (SEPS) controller area network (CAN) node is missing (MIA).

Potential impact

The DI ECU is unable to monitor the state of the SEPS.

Set condition

The DI ECU is not receiving the expected CAN communication from the SEPS, and considers it irrational or MIA.

Clear condition

The DI ECU receives the required CAN messages from the SEPS.
