Alert description
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the steering column control module (SCCM) controller area network (CAN) node is missing (MIA).
Potential impact
The DI ECU is unable to monitor the state of the SCCM and may be unable to shift gears.
Set condition
The DI ECU is not receiving the expected CAN communication from the SCCM, and considers it irrational or MIA.
Clear condition
The DI ECU receives the required CAN messages from the SCCM.
