This routine clears the High Voltage Battery Management System (HVBMS) isolation counters, which clears BMS_a027_SW_Repeated_Isolation_Failure_In_Drive and BMS_a172_SW_Isolation_Failure_In_Drive_Warning alerts. Execute this routine after repairing any isolation issue on the vehicle's High Voltage (HV) system. The HVBMS isolation counters latch the alerts BMS_a027 and BMS_a172 when reaching a certain count threshold.

This routine creates a backup copy of High Voltage Controller (HVC) data and saves it onto
the car computer. The backup data is needed when performing an HVC ECU Restore.
PROC_HVC_X_ECU-REPLACEMENT-BACKUP
Model 3 / Y
Model S / X (2021+)
This routine writes the most recently saved High Voltage Controller (HVC) ECU backup data on the car computer to the newly installed HVC. During the routine, two CAN ECU redeploys will occur which is expected. The entire procedure will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. See Toolbox Article 6523500 for more specific details.
Requirements:
- New compatible HVC is installed (See Toolbox Article 6569500)
- LV battery is supported by a LV maintainer
- First responder loop is connected
- Every connection within the ancillary bay is made
PROC_HVC_X_ECU-REPLACEMENT-RESTORE
Model 3 / Y
Model S / X (2021+)
Diagnoses an issue between the High Voltage Processor (HVP) and Power Conversion System (PCS). Enables wiring interface by toggling the DCDC, CHG, and PCS enable lines between the HVP and PCS. If the PCS, HVP, and/or Battery Management System (BMS) are absent, all three lines will report a failure.
TEST-SELF_HVP_X_PCS-INTERFACE
Model 3 / Y
Model S / X (2021+)
This routine will test if the High Voltage Processor (HVP) is communicating over CAN. Note that if the High Voltage Battery Management System (HVBMS) is MIA, this routine may falsely fail since the HVBMS forwards all HVS components status' to the Gateway.
PING-TP_HVP
Model 3 / Y
Model S / X (2021+)
This routine performs a self test of the HVP charge port (CP) interface.
TEST-SELF_HVP_X_CP-INTERFACE
Model 3 / Y
Model S / X (2021+)
This routine will check the integrity of the emergency notification signal (ENS) line between the HVP and RCM.
TEST-SELF_HVP_X_ENS
Model 3 / Y

Measures the brake system stiffness. Select burnished or unburnished to determine the pass/fail threshold.
Stiffness threshold is selected based on chassis and brake hardware type.
Stiffness by wheel circuit is also measured, but not used for pass/fail.
