BCCEN CAN Communication
Tests communication with the Body Controller (BCCEN) Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Communication is established via Unified Diagnostics Services (UDS) over the Controller Area Network (CAN).
PING-TP_BCCEN
ModelX/tasks/TEST_BCCEN_X_UHF-CHARGE-PORT
Tests the connectivity and signal strength of the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) charge port antenna on the Model X located in the grid of the rear liftgate glass. The antenna will detect a signal from a standard UHF transmitter, but the transmitter is not sending a request to Open the charge port door, so the charge port is not required to respond by opening.
Open a version to see its description, requirements, and input definitions. Hardware configuration and live vehicle checks also determine availability.

PING-TP_BCCEN
This test calibrates the steering column. When the calibration is run, the steering column will first move all the way in, then move out to the endpoint. Next, the up/down axis will be calibrated in the same manner. The calibration routine is used to set the zero position of both axes and to determine the number of motor encoder counts it takes to reach the other end point of the column's travel.
PROC_BCCEN_X_CALIBRATE-STEERING-COLUMN
This routine is used to reset the drive unit immobilizer key. This re-learns the code that pairs the drive unit with the security controller (BCCEN). This routine needs to be performed when either the security controller is replaced or the drive unit is permanently removed from a vehicle.
PROC_BCCEN_X_IMMOBILIZER-RESET
This routine runs on the central body controller (BCCEN) and verifies that the Intrusion Tilt Sensor and Battery Backed Siren have been installed and are functioning correctly.
