IDB Corner Stiffness Test
Gen3/tasks/TEST-BRAKE_IDB-CORNER-STIFFNESS
What this task does
Measures brake stiffness for each wheel circuit independently. Stiffness threshold is selected based on chassis, burnished state and brake hardware. If executing with DIAG_LINK_ACTIVE then EPBs will release one at a time, which is required if CHECK_SWAPPED_REAR_LINES is true.
Vehicle & firmware coverage
Open a version to see its description, requirements, and input definitions. Hardware configuration and live vehicle checks also determine availability.

Procedure notes
Will release parking brakes one at a time. The vehicle may shift! Make sure the vehicle is on a flat surface or a lift, and surrounding area is safe.
Task inputs (4)
Check Swapped Rear Brake Lines
CHECK_SWAPPED_REAR_LINES · Bool
Validates correct rear brake line routing (RL to RL/RR to RR) by measuring and comparing fluid consumption with EPB parked and unparked.
Firmware default: true
System Level Pre-Apply
SYSTEM_PRE_APPLY · Bool
Enables system pre-apply prior to beginning corner-stiffness sequence.
Firmware default: false
Injected Inputs for Routine Evaluation
EVAL_INPUTS · Dict
Dict formatted inputs formatted to adjust what routine is evaluated against (pass/fail). This includes leakage thresholds, pressure targets, pressure differential, and dead travel limits.
Firmware default: []
Injected Inputs for Routine Parameters
PARAM_INPUTS · Dict
Dict formatted inputs formatted to adjust routine parameters. This includes target stroke, speed, stabilization time, hold time, and pre-apply control.
