Alert description
The Restraints Control Module (RCM) reports an accident and commands the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) electronic control unit (ECU) to actuate the brakes to prevent a secondary collision.

The ESP ECU may engage the brakes.
Set condition
The RCM reports an accident to the ESP ECU.
Clear condition
The vehicle comes to a complete stop or the driver overrides the ESP by using the accelerator pedal.
