Alert description

The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) electronic control unit (ECU) is not receiving messages from the rear left drive inverter (DIREL) ECU on the Party controller area network (CAN) bus within the expected time frame.

Potential impact

Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) may be unavailable.

Set condition

The ESP ECU does not receive messages from the DIREL ECU on the Party CAN bus within the expected time frame.

Clear condition

The ESP ECU begins receiving messages from the DIREL ECU on the Party CAN bus within the expected time frame.
