Alert description
Wheel Speed Sensor: General Fault.
Potential impact
Will disable VDC/TC and degrade ABS. Leads to deactivation of BSC and EBD.
Set condition
Three or more sensor signals seem to be affected by temporary failure suspicion at the same time (one or several of the above described failure monitoring are triggered by not plausible or missing WSS signals).
Clear condition
Check WSS connections and power cycle.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of ESP_a020.
