Alert description
Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) reports unexpected error between internal angle sensor and steering column control module (SCCM) angle sensor.
Potential impact
Angle measurement divergence could indicate steering system belt slip or other mechanical failure.
Set condition
The steering system detects divergence between its internal angle sensor and external angle sensor greater than 30 degrees.
Clear condition
Vehicle completes a power cycle. The alert will remain present for the remainder of the current drive cycle.
