Alert description

The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the external brake request (EBR) is unavailable while HOLD stopping mode is active.

Potential impact

The DI holds the vehicle using motor torque, which may lead to reduced hold performance while near standstill.

Set condition

Vehicle hold is unavailable when HOLD stopping mode is activated, or the external brake request feature becomes unavailable from the electronic stability program module.

Clear condition

HOLD stopping mode becomes available, or the vehicle enters Park.
