Alert description
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects a condition that requires it to apply behavioral limp mode (reduced acceleration and regenerative braking) to protect HV battery.
Potential impact
Acceleration and regenerative braking are limited to chill mode profile.
Set condition
The DI ECU receives soft system limp requests from one or more drive inverter units indicating HV battery protection is needed.
Clear condition
A drive cycle is executed and the DI ECU detects that the trigger condition is no longer present.
