Alert description
The drive inverter (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) is unable to command a unit torque request to the rear right drive inverter (DIRER) ECU because the rear right drive unit is disabled. This alert is set in addition to one or more DIRER alert(s) indicating the reason why the rear right drive unit is disabled.
Potential impact
The rear right drive unit may be disabled, which may prevent torque or power from being produced on the rear wheels.
Set condition
At least one additional alert is present indicating the rear right drive unit is disabled. Alert log signal data should provide more information on the specific condition(s) detected.
Clear condition
Additional alert(s) indicating the rear right drive unit is disabled clear.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of DI_a009.
