Alert description

The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the touch screen and secondary shifter (CCCM or PRND) are unavailable.

Potential impact

Gear shifting control is unavailable

Set condition

Set when GTW_gearControl is MIA or GTW_primaryGearControlStatus != QUALIFIED and CCCM_buttonStatus are MIA to DI

Clear condition

Clears when the DI detects that either the vehicle gateway (GTW) or the secondary shifter (CCCM or PRND) is not unavailable (MIA) and is available for shifting.

With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of DI_a006.
