Alert description
The Battery Management System (BMS) detects that vehicle controller front (VCFRONT) is missing (MIA) while the vehicle is in driving.
Potential impact
Inability to charge, drive, or support the Low Voltage (LV) system
Set condition
The BMS has not received one more expected CAN messages from VCFRONT while in drive.
Clear condition
The BMS receives all expected CAN messages from VCFRONT while the vehicle is in drive.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of BMS_a088.
