Alert description

The battery vehicle controller (VCBATT) has opened the Low Voltage (LV) power feed circuit (eFuse) to the Electronic Power Steering Controller System 1 (EPAS1), interrupting power supply to EPAS1.

Potential impact

Power steering functionality may be limited or unavailable.

Set condition

VCBATT detects the eFuse circuit gating Low Voltage (LV) power feed to EPAS1 as open (tripped).

Clear condition

VCBATT no longer detects the eFuse circuit gating Low Voltage (LV) power feed to EPAS1 as open (tripped) after a retry or sleep cycle, or the vehicle enters a state where the eFuse is expected to be open (off).
