Alert description
One or more of the messages the Propulsion Monitor (PM) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) receives periodically from the Decoupled Brake Booster (BB) ECU is not received, indicating the BB ECU may be unavailable (MIA).
Potential impact
Regenerative-friction brake torque blending functionality may be limited or unavailable.
Set condition
One or more of the expected messages from the BB ECU is not received.
Clear condition
The DI ECU starts receiving the expected messages from the BB ECU during the next drive cycle.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of PM_a016.
