Alert description
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the Tesla Restraint Control Module (TRCM) electronic control unit (ECU) is running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle.
Potential impact
Tesla Supplementary Restraint System (TSRS) features depending on TRCM ECU functionality may be limited or unavailable.
Set condition
The GTW detects the TRCM ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
Clear condition
The GTW no longer detects the TRCM ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of GTW_w418.
