Alert description
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the Braking Redundant Control Unit Calibration (RCUCAL) electronic control unit (ECU) is running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle.
Potential impact
Vehicle is unable to drive until the firmware version mismatch is resolved, to make sure brake system functionality is not limited or unavailable due to firmware.
Set condition
The GTW detects the RCUCAL ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
Clear condition
The GTW no longer detects the RCUCAL ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of GTW_w386.
