The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the left Steering Wheel Switchpack (SWSL) electronic control unit (ECU) is running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle.

Features depending on SWSL functionality, including steering wheel buttons and scroll wheel functions, may be limited or unavailable. Note: No expected impact to steering wheel airbag functionality based on this alert.
Set condition
The GTW detects the SWSL running a different firmware version than expected.
Clear condition
The GTW no longer detects the SWSL running a different firmware version than expected.
