Alert description
EPB_status message counter value the Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) receives periodically is not valid or not incrementing correctly.
Potential impact
The EPAS ECU may not exit Driverless State until it is confirmed vehicle is parked.
Set condition
The EPAS ECU does not receive correctly imcrementing counter value for EPB_status message from EPB ECU within the expected time frame.
Clear condition
The EPAS ECU starts receiving the expected message counter from the EPB ECU.

With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of EPAS3S_a166.
