One or more of the messages the Drive Inverter Rear (DIR) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) receives periodically from the Decoupled Brake Booster (BB) ECU is not received, indicating the BB ECU may be unavailable (MIA).

Drive system may not function as expected.
Set condition
One or more of the expected messages from the BB ECU is not received.
Clear condition
The DIR ECU starts receiving the expected messages from the BB ECU during the next drive cycle.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of DIR_a063.
