One or more of the messages the Autopilot Processor Secondary (APS) receives periodically from the Primary Electric Power Steering (PEPS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is not received, indicating the PEPS ECU may be unavailable (MIA).
Potential impact
Autopilot features will be unavailable.
Set condition
APS does not receive PEPS messages for more than 10 messages.
Clear condition
APS starts receiving messages from PEPS.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of APSB_w280.
