Alert description

The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the rear steering actuator monitor (RSAM) electronic control unit (ECU) is running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle.

Rear power steering may be limited or unavailable.

Set condition

The GTW detects the RSAM ECU running a different firmware version than expected.

Clear condition

The GTW no longer detects the RSAM ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
