Alert description
The vehicle is unable to CHAdeMO DC fast charge (FC) because the battery management system (BMS) reports an incompatible protocol version.
Potential impact
DC fast charging is unavailable.
Set condition
The FC ECU detects that the BMS protocol version is not compatible with the CHAdeMO EVSE.
Clear condition
The FC electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the BMS protocol version is compatible with the CHAdeMO electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), or the charge cable is disconnected.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of FC_a140.
