Alert description
The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is not receiving inertial measurement unit (IMU) messages from the Restraints Control Module (RCM) within the expected time frame.
Potential impact
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), and Traction Control (TC) performance may be reduced.
Set condition
The ESP ECU does not receive IMU messages from the RCM within the expected time frame.
Clear condition
The ESP ECU begins receiving IMU messages from the RCM within the expected time frame.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of ESP_a151.
