Alert description
The drive interface (DI) or drive inverter (DIx) electronic control unit (ECU) detects a low voltage (LV) battery undervoltage event.
Potential impact
The DI ECU triggers limp mode (see separate limpMode alerts) and cannot produce torque or power.
Set condition
LV supply voltage to DI is disconnected or drops below lower voltage threshold.
Clear condition
The LV supply rises above the limit threshold.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of DIR_a018.
