The Autopilot (AP) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the Turbo A main processor encounters a lockstep error in the safety management subsystem (SMS).
Potential impact
All AP features will be unavailable.
Set condition
The AP ECU detects a lockstep error on the Turbo A main processor in the SMS.
Clear condition
Clears when the lockup error is no longer detected on the Turbo A main processor in the SMS.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of APS_w166.
